Senior Sales Executive, Custom Software

We’re now looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Sales team in Finland and drive growth in our custom software business.
What is the job like really? 🤔
This is a hybrid role combining new business and account development, with a strong emphasis on proactive customer acquisition. Your main goal is to open doors, build relationships, and turn opportunities into real software projects. You’ll work closely with our experts to shape solutions - from early discussions to proposals and closing deals.
You’ll know you’ve succeeded when new project starts are created, your pipeline stays active, and opportunities consistently move forward.
Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities:
☘️ Driving new customer acquisition: You proactively identify and approach potential customers across industries - building relationships and creating new opportunities.
☘️ Developing customer accounts: You take ownership of selected accounts and identify ways to create long-term value.
☘️ Selling custom software solutions: You understand customer business challenges and shape tailored solutions together with our experts - using modern technologies, including AI.
☘️ Driving opportunities to closure: You lead the sales process from first conversations to proposals and closing, supported by our expert teams.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on sales professional who enjoys opening conversations, building relationships, and driving opportunities forward.
You combine a strong hunter mindset with the ability to own and grow strategic accounts - actively building pipeline through cold outreach while developing long-term partnerships.
You’re comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment and have enough technical understanding to discuss digital solutions with confidence.
Your background:
🎯 Experience in solution sales: Several years of experience in consultative selling, solution sales, or account management.
🎯 New business mindset: Proven ability to generate new opportunities and drive proactive sales.
🎯 Experience with complex offerings: Background in selling software, consulting, or digital services to private and/or public sector clients.
🎯 Commercial understanding: Ability to translate business needs into solutions and operate across different sales models (e.g. T&M, fixed price).
🎯 End-to-end sales capability: Ownership of the full sales cycle, from first contact to closing, including contributing to proposals and bids.
🎯 Technical understanding: Understanding of software development, data, or AI, with the ability to discuss solutions with customers.
🎯 Industry background: Experience from a consultancy or custom software business is considered an advantage.
🎯 Domain knowledge: Familiarity with the financial sector, banking, or insurance industry is considered a plus.
🎯 Language & mobility: Fluent in Finnish and English, with flexibility to work across our offices (Helsinki & Tampere).
