To help the next generation of digital experts rise and shine, we’re launching our Vincit Rising Star Trainee Program 2026. We’re looking for a Junior Functional SAP Consultant to join our Core business area, where we build and support outstanding SAP ERP solutions for our strategic customers. We’re looking for someone eager to grow into a specialist in the FI/CO (Finance & Controlling) or MM (Materials Management) module and jump into real customer projects from day one.

What is the program like, really? 🤔
From Trainee to Junior Pro! This program is designed as a career launchpad. You will start on a one-year fixed-term contract (March 2026 – March 2027) with a clear shared objective: to build the skills and confidence needed to transition you into a permanent junior-level position at the end of the program.
As a Rising Star trainee, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You’ll join real customer projects - from new S/4HANA implementations and roll-outs to continuous development, process improvements, integrations, and advisory work. This gives you a broad and realistic view of what modern SAP consulting can be.
You’ll be surrounded by a supportive community – other Rising Star trainees, our senior experts, and Univincity, Vincit’s internal learning platform that helps you grow both technically and professionally.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do during the trainee program:
☘️ SAP functional consulting: Participate in requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, documentation, and go-live support in the FI/CO or MM module.
☘️ S/4HANA expertise: Learn the concepts, tools, and best practices used in today’s modern SAP environments.
☘️ Consulting: Develop consulting skills and work directly with customers.
☘️ Continuous learning: You’ll grow through real project work and close support from your mentor, while making the most of Vincit’s internal trainings.

What are we looking for? 🔎
This trainee path is for future SAP consultants. Any previous experience with ERP systems or business process development is a plus, though not mandatory. What we’re really looking for is motivation and the right mindset to develop into an SAP consultant.
Core requirements
🎯 Understanding of business processes (finance, controlling, logistics, procurement, supply chain, etc.).
🎯 Interest in becoming an FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) or MM (Materials Management) specialist.
🎯 Motivation to learn SAP S/4HANA and modern consulting practices.
🎯 AI Fluency: A genuine interest in AI-assisted work and curiosity to explore new tools.
🎯 Full-time Availability: Ideally, you’ve already graduated or are just about to finish your studies, so you won’t need to combine full-time work with studying, starting 30.3.2026.
🎯 Language Skills: Fluent Finnish and English skills, as most of our projects and customers communicate in Finnish, but we also communicate in English internally.
Nice-to-have skills
🎯 Any experience related to finance, controlling, logistics, procurement, or supply chain.
🎯 Familiarity with ERP or business systems.
🎯 Exposure to testing, analysis, data validation, or process development.

Cool, but what’s in it for me?
While this program gives you the freedom to learn and grow in your own way, you won’t be doing it alone. In addition to our friendly community, we offer:
🌟 Solid Pay: A fixed monthly base salary of 3,000 € during the trainee year.
🌟 Fixed contract: 1-year fixed-term contract with a 6-month trial period. The goal is to continue as a full-time consultant after the program. Our career model supports your growth from Trainee to Junior and later to Mid-level. As your skills grow, so do your title and pay. Our aim is to offer you a permanent contract upon successful completion of the program (target: April 1, 2027).
