What is the job like, really? 🤔

As a key player in our expanding IT infrastructure, you'll manage and optimize these crucial systems. This role offers a prime opportunity to showcase your deep technical skills, ensuring our systems are not only robust and secure but also operating at peak efficiency. Here's a snapshot of your key responsibilities:

☘️ SAP Basis Administration: Manage and maintain our commerce platforms, including tasks such as installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

☘️ System Upgrades and Migrations: Take charge of planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring our platforms stay up to date, stable, and compliant with industry standards.

☘️ Security and Authorization: Implement and oversee robust security measures. Manage user access controls and authorization policies to safeguard our systems against threats.

☘️ Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks. Your role is crucial in maintaining optimal system performance for end users, ensuring a seamless experience.

☘️ Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for our landscapes. Your foresight and planning will minimize business impact in the event of system failures.

☘️ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness of solutions.

What are we looking for? 

We don’t expect you to be a unicorn, but the more you know about the following, the better:

🎯 Proven experience as a platform engineer with 2+ years of experience on SAP Commerce Cloud.

🎯 Experience with other commerce platforms like Adobe, Spryker, or commercetools is also valued.

🎯 In-depth knowledge of architecture, system administration, and best practices.

🎯 Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with containerized environments.

🎯 Familiarity with the Azure Cloud Platform.

🎯 Knowledge of SAP Kyma.

Soft Skills:

🎯 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

🎯 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

🎯 Innovative problem-solving skills, with a flair for analyzing complex technical issues.
