As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations and reporting of our company. Working closely with the management team, you will ensure that financial data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with the requirements for publicly listed companies. You will have the opportunity to develop our financial processes and contribute directly to the company’s financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

💫 Monthly, quarterly, annual financial reporting and group consolidation

💫 Ensuring compliance with financial rules, standards, and reporting obligations for publicly listed companies

💫 Developing and streamlining statutory processes

💫 Supporting internal controls and risk management

💫 Collaboration with auditors and regulatory authorities

What are we looking for?

🎯 A higher education degree in economics, finance, or a related field

🎯 Strong experience in financial management, particularly with First North listed companies or publicly traded companies

🎯 In-depth understanding of reporting obligations and compliance requirements for publicly listed companies

🎯 Excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce clear financial reports

🎯 Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP & consolidation systems)

🎯 Experience with an IFRS project, taxation and transfer pricing

🎯 Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

🎯 Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work across different time zones as needed

🎯 Fluency in both Finnish and English
